Privacy policy

This notice explains what personal data www.lorenzomarianifilms.com collects, why, how it is used and what your rights are under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data controller

1. Contact form enquiries

What: name, email, phone (optional), wedding date and venue, number of guests, how you found me, whether you have a wedding planner, and your message.

Why: to reply, check availability for your date and send you information and a quote. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Without this data I cannot reply.

How: the form is delivered through Web3Forms (Web3Creative, India, servers in the United States), which states that it does not store submissions but forwards them by email; its technical logs are deleted periodically. Enquiries arrive in my mailbox, managed with Google Workspace. Data is transferred outside the EU because this is necessary to act on your request (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR).

How long: as long as needed to handle your enquiry. If no contract follows, emails are deleted within 24 months. If you become a client, data needed for the contract and invoicing is kept for the period required by law.

2. Browsing the site

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.). To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, servers log technical data such as IP address, browser and requested page. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in running and securing the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare may process this data outside the EU with the safeguards required by the GDPR.

3. Visit statistics

To know how many people visit the site, which pages they view and where they come from, I use two tools that do not use cookies and are not used to identify you: Cloudflare Web Analytics and Umami (Umami Software, Inc., data stored in Europe). They collect data such as page viewed, referring site, approximate country or city, device and browser type, in anonymous or aggregated form. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used in order to improve it (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Trailer videos (YouTube)

Trailers are hosted on YouTube and load only when you press play, in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). From that moment Google may collect data and store information on your device under its own privacy policy. If you don't press play, YouTube is not contacted.

5. Fonts and other content

Fonts and images are stored on the site itself and are not loaded from Google Fonts or other external services.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, or receive your data in a portable format (Arts. 15-22 GDPR), by writing to info@lorenzomarianifilms.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) or the authority in your country.

I do not sell or share your data with third parties and do not use it for advertising.
